Professor Nowack discusses sound waves, earthquake waves, a number of earthquakes, and the Richter Scale. The energy released in earthquakes is similar to sound waves, therefore we can listen to earthquakes. Current projects include stations set up near wind farms to collect seismic data related to the output of windmills.
