Following a victory at Welling United the previous weekend, St Albans City returned to losing ways on Saturday (2nd November) with a defeat to title chasing Havant & Waterlooville at Clarence Park. Host podsters Jake and Dave will pick their way through that game before getting stuck into what else happened in National League South at the weekend.

Billericay Town’s pitch was turned into a race track by vandals and the duo will see what is going on there along with a number of other clubs in the Division that have experienced off-pitch problems in recent weeks. A Podful of Saints no.16 will also review City’s Herts Senior Cup tie against Bishop’s Stortford (5th) before putting the cat out for another week.

There’s a fair chance that the cost of admission to matches at Clarence Park could also get a mention.
