Plenty for our resident St Albans City podders, Jake & Dave, to get their teeth stuck into in episode 12 of A Podful of Saints as Ian Allinson’s boys are swept out the FA Cup most emphatically by Weymouth. Once they’ve pondered City’s cup demise at the Bob Lucas Stadium the two podsters will see how the remaining National League South sides coped in the FA Cup on Saturday.

There were no league games at the weekend (5th October) but there is some transfer news to catch up on followed by a preview of this coming Saturday’s (12th) home league encounter with fellow strugglers Eastbourne Borough. Jake will run through all of the exciting topics the club has lined up for the weekend in an effort to entice absent supporters back to Clarence Park for a game that could have a significant bearing on how the rest of the season pans out.
