Question(s) of the Week:
Question: When I try to upload my file to Blubrry hosting from PowerPress I get this error:
“Authentication failed. Please verify that your email and password are correct.”
Answer: This is normally caused by a change in password or login email at blubrry.com. To correct this, Go to blubrry.com in one tab in your browser. Then in another tab, on your WordPress site, go to PowerPress > settings and click the link that says “Go to Blubrry account”. Click “unlink account”. Then refresh your browser window and click on “Lets Connect” in the same box where “Go to Blubrry Account” was. Click OK on the box that pops up that says Authorize. Click OK and refresh your browser again and it should say “Connected to blubrry” again. Your upload should work now.
Any time you change the password at blubrry.com you will have to re-do the link between PowerPress and Blubrry.
NEW! If you have a question or feedback, click on the “Leave a voicemail” tab on PodcastInsider.com. Record your question and we may answer it on the show.
