In this standalone sermon, we learned what it truly means to fulfill the greatest commandment to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We saw that loving God results in a reverence for Him; the more we know God, the more we love Him but also respect His holiness. We also learned that a true love for God rejects a sense of religion; a sincere love of God is what fuels our worship and service of Him not legalism or tradition. Finally, we learned that the only way for us to truly fulfill this great commandment is by God regenerating our hearts, enabling us to truly love Him. Only when God has removed our heart of stone, and given us a heart of flesh can we truly love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
