Jesus Christ is a figure discussed by theologians, philosophers, historians and more. Many times, the various conclusions made about Jesus have not been faithful to the biblical text; and it paints an inaccurate understanding of the person of Jesus Christ and robs us of the Wonder found in Him. We looked to Paul’s letter in Colossians 1:15-20, where we scratch the surface on who Jesus Christ is. We learned that He is the perfect representation of God, who is the supreme creator of all that exists. We also learned that Jesus Christ holds and sustains everything, and that the final purpose of creation concludes with Him. We were reminded that Jesus is the head of our Church and He leads His people. And as God, Jesus Christ is the preeminent one; in Him, all people everywhere can find redemption.
