In this sermon we explored Romans 6:1-14, emphasizing our union with Christ in His death and resurrection. We learned that grace doesn’t encourage sin but empowers us to overcome it. This union assures us of freedom from sin’s power and a transformed life. We are called to reject sin’s reign, offer ourselves to God as instruments of righteousness, and live under the empowering grace of God. As we internalize these truths, we are encouraged to reflect on our lives, identify areas needing change, and commit to living out our new identity in Christ. May God grant us strength and wisdom to live as true reflections of His grace and righteousness.
