S7E26: Access to equitable care and peer support share the spotlight for Fertility Awareness Week 2025
Every Canadian should be aware of the heavy emotional, physical, and financial toll fertility challenges play in the lives of one in six people in this country. That's part of the work done by Fertility Matters Canada and its annual Canadian Fertility Awareness Week, marked during the last full week of April. From the impacts on the workplace and economy to creating connection between people navigating their personal journeys, Fertility Matters brings the topic to the forefront of conversations across the country. Moncton's Carolynn Dubé has been the organization's Executive Director since 2015. She joins Jenna & Tosh to talk about the advances in awareness over the past decade and what progress the group is focused on currently, as well as some of the events planned for Fertility Awareness Week 2025.
The Jenna & Tosh Show is a co-production of Pickle Planet Moncton and The Podcast Hub, and is recorded & aired by Rogers TV New Brunswick.
This isn't Carolynn's first visit to Pickle Planet. Listen to her 2023 interview about her personal journey with fertility, her 2021 interview about Fertility Matters and its mandate, and read her powerful first-person narrative about her journey from infertility into motherhood and her son's dream for siblings.
