2023 January 17 - Unexpected Clouds Toward the Andromeda Galaxy

In today's image, we see the Andromeda Galaxy which is the nearest large spiral grassy to our own Milky Way. The clouds to the lower left are recently discovered and we do not yet know their origin or wether they are located close to Andromeda or within our own Milky Way galaxy. Future studies may be able to tell us something new about the universe.
