NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day
2023 January 02 - After Sunset Planet Parade
In today's image, we see the planets in the night sky just after sunset. Venus has recently made its transition from Morning Star to Evening Star and will become more prominent in the evening sky over the spring. Saturn will be slowly sinking toward the Sun and will be less visible. But, a chance now to see a good number of the planets in the evening sky just after sunset!
