2022 November 27 - Supernumerary Rainbows over New Jersey
In today's image, we see at least five supernumerary rainbows in the image. These are causes when identically sized water droplets, less than a millimeter in size not only reflect light, but also cause interference between the light waves. This is something that can only happen if light behaves like a wave.
