NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day

2025 October 27 - Two Tails of Comet Lemmon
In today's image, we see Comet Lemmon which remains visible in the northwest after sunset for observers in the northern hemisphere. While barely visible with the unaided eye, it is better seen with binoculars or by taking an image of the area with a camera.
