2025 August 24 - The Spinning Pulsar of the Crab Nebula
In today's image, we see the central regions of the Crab Nebula showing the pulsar located at the center. A pulsar is a rapidly spinning neutron star - which is a star pressed together by gravity such that it has the density of an atomic nucleus.
