2024 November 18 - Stars and Dust in the Pacman Nebula
In today's image, we see part of what is known as the Pacman Nebula. This is a star forming region, with a newly formed cluster of stars at the center. Those stars are eroding away the material around them, with only the densest areas left to form new stars.
