2024 November 10 - Valles Marineris: The Grand Canyon of Mars
In today's image, we see Valles Marineris, a great canyon stretching across the face of Mars. It is much longer than our own Grand Canyon on Earth, by a factor of four and was not formed by running water like the Grand Canyon on Earth.
