2024 August 06 - Storm Cloud over Texas

August 06, 2024

In today's image, we see a storm cloud as seen over Texas in 2021. The structure of the cloud is caused by Earth's atmosphere and the different temperatures and storm fronts morning through it. The colors are caused by light from the Sun and are different because different parts of the cloud see the Sun at different heights above the horizon.
