2024 April 05 - The Solar Corona Unwrapped
In today's image, we see two images of the corona of the Sun stretched out so they can be easily compared to one another. On the top is an image from the solar eclipse of 2023 and on the bottom an image from the solar eclipse of 2017. We can see that the Sun was far more active in 2023 as compared to 2017.
