2023 August 25 - A Season of Saturn

August 25, 2023

In today's image, we see six images of the planet Saturn, one taken each year from 2018-2023. This demonstrates how the orientation of the rings will change over the course of a season on Saturn - A season on Saturn is much longer than one on Earth because of its larger orbit around the Sun.
