In today's image, we see the peculiar pair of galaxies known as Arp 93. These are two galaxies that are in the process of colliding and likely will form a large galaxy as they merge together over the next billion years or so. This may be a preview of what our galaxy might look like in the distant future as it collides with the Andromeda Galaxy.
