In today's image, we see the Antikythera Mechanism. This is believed to be one of the earliest analog computers, dating back 2000 years with the ability to predict the positions of the stars and planets as well as eclipses. Modern scientists are trying to replicate what had been done here to get a better understanding of the capabilities of this ancient machine.
