In today's image, we see an image released a year ago from the James Webb Space Telescope. This is a deep field image, looking at what might be considered a relatively empty region of space to view distant galaxies many billions of light years away. We see the distortion of the light from the distant galaxies as it passes through the gravitational field of a nearer cluster of galaxies.
