029 - Living in France during COVID-19: Kristen Vonnoh

April 13, 2020

Kristen Vonnoh is a bright-eyed journalist from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Just last month, Kristen was published in the Boston Globe—her first big byline. Unfortunately, Kristen’s first big article wasn’t about what she’s passionate about: learning all things French, fashion tips, journalism, or her love of a certain Harry Styles. Kristen was teaching in France, but now, she’s enduring a nationwide lockdown and nothing will ever be the same. On today’s episode, Kristen describes her time learning French, communicating in a foreign land, her journalistic dreams, and how her life has drastically changed due to COVID-19. This episode was also recorded over the web, so bear with me as sometimes the Wifi can be a bit spotty.
