For the last several decades, there’s been a tremendous focus in the world of concussion on areas such as recognizing when a concussion occurs, various diagnostic evaluations, treatment recommendations and determining when it’s an appropriate time to return to play sports after a concussion. However, it’s only really been the last eight or nine years that there’s been more emphasis, at least on a wider scale, of how to help kids in school when they’re dealing with their concussion, typically what we refer to as Return To Learn.
In this episode we are going to be discussing the topic of Returning To Learn with leading experts in this field and ways that YOU as a healthcare professional dealing with concussion can best support students in their return to the classroom.
