Working with Meg's Smile Foundation the Holly Springs Skyhawks have organized a fantastic event at the hands of Doug LeRoy and company. This year AK Mike was to be the Parkflyer Podcast attendee. However, Michael and Jay decided to surprise everyone and fly out to meet up with AK Mike. Lots of planes and events went into the day and this episode covers the mornings events. Doug gives us the layout for the day and Jim shares his story of Meg and how his foundation got started. We are joined by Joey one of the youngest pilots to fly today and he brings us up to speed on his flying abilities. Nikolei Zinsli chats about how to do reviews of new airplanes. AK Mike and Jay get to talk quad racing with the GP drone racer. The noon Demo was amazing and the drawings for prizes were exciting. The Grand Prize went to John Youngblood who sat with us right afterwards to share his thoughts and how he got started. Steve give us the lowdown on his club and whats coming up in his calendar.
