Hello and welcome to the latest episode of Parental Geekery. Today we are celebrating the arrival of John’s Panasonic GX7, which is his birthday present. We also explain why there was no show this week, and Ruth talks about how much work she’s still got to do before Christmas.

We talk about the Hour of Code project, which you can read all about in Ruth’s blog post on the subject. John also mentions the Light bot app for iOS and Android. The whole reason Catherine ended up completing the Hour of Code was due to being poorly, and we talk a little about that too.

We talk about working with Panasonic for the next year to review their home A/V equipment, and John talks about his first impressions of the products following a trip to Panasonic Head Office a couple of weeks ago.
