Inspiration in Her Journey

August 24, 2015

Newly-published author Ellie Lieberman writes of pain, alienation--and beauty.

Her young-adult book, Society's Foundlings, explores the world of Clem, Sampson, Carver and Math--four young men struggling through the harsh realities of early adulthood.    Ellie writes with simplicity and truth, and shows her readers subtle touches of magic and wonder, through her characters' day-to-day lives.

At the recent Mystic Dragon Book Festival, in Industry, Ellie talked about her journey as a first-time published author, read from Society's Foundlings and offered some insights into both her characters and the process of taking a book from story to publication.  She also gave some great resources for new authors!

Ellie Lieberman currently has three more stories in the works; we'll keep you posted when the publication dates are definite!  Meanwhile,  she's also a talented artist/entrepreneur.  Check out her handmade creations offered through her small business, Acorn Tops.
