To the Next Level–and Beyond
Comedian, motivational speaker and author Charles McFall likes to use his talents to help people "level up".
But while that's a gaming term (appropriately, since one of his podcasts, From the Helicarrier, is about his favorite game), we're talking about real life. His mantra: "Help Others Be Awesome".
Charles, who discovered podcasting in 2004, is the Executive Producer and co-host of the Success Freaks podcast, as well as the co-author of the book Success Freaks Guide to Dream Hunting. His background includes not only creating multiple live shows and producing shows for other podcasters, but ten years as a paramedic--and growing up as the "son of a preacher man".
When New Media Expo 2015 takes place in Las Vegas, in another two weeks, Charles will be helping fellow podcasters "be awesome", as he hosts a panel on "How To Build a Community That Grows Your Influence and Income".
Charles talked about his growing-up years, his experiences as a podcaster, and the lessons he's learned while building his own community.
(Note: "Success Freaks" is a three-time finalist for the People's Choice Podcast Awards--and is in the running, once again, for the 2015 award!)
