My guest is Maimah Karmo, a woman that has endured breast cancer, wa ar in her native Liberia and a lightning strike. What is even more amazing is the way that she has turned her misfortunes into opportunities.
Maimah learned from her parents to be compassionated and to give back. Growing up in a country plagued by war taught her to find the silver lining in any situation. As a young mother, her life was turned upside down after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
But Maimah didn’t give up. Instead, she found a way to use her experience to make a difference for other young women going through a similar situation.

Maimah created Tiger Lilly Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering young women diagnosed with breast cancer.  She is also the author of “Fearless; Awakening to My Life’s Purpose Through Breast Cancer”, in which she shares how she has had to learn to walk through her fears to become the successful woman she is now.
Maimah is also the host of The Pure Bliss Show: Live Your Soul Purpose. In every podcast episode she provides inspiration, motivation, and tools to empower you to thrive and live a life of Bliss!
