Take 10: The Power of Serving Others with Social Entrepreneur Joseph N. Sanberg
Show Notes
Hello everyone! Welcome to Take 10: “The Power of Serving Others; Social Entrepreneur Joseph N. Sanberg’s take on making people’s lives better”.
In this episode we’ll learn about the inspiring success story of Joseph N. Sanberg. He was raised by a single mom in a low-income household in Southern California.
As a teenager Sanberg dreamed of attending Harvard, but he was told by someone very close to him that he shouldn’t aspire to go there. It was going to be impossible for him to be admitted, and in the event that he did get it, he wasn’t going to be able to afford it! His family didn’t have the money!

Discouraging words didn’t stop Sanberg from pursuing his dream. He figured out a way to do it, graduated with honors, and moved to New York to start a career in the investments industry.
He would later become a public and private-sector entrepreneur and investor. His goal: “to build companies that would make the world better”.
Sanberg is the founding investor of Blue Apron, one of America’s a fastest-growing provider of home-delivered meals. He is also co-founder of Aspiration.com, an online banking and financial firm that allows customers to choose their fees.
“Most successful entrepreneurs and business leaders are not motivated by money, they are motivated by solving problems and building things”, Joseph N. Sanberg.
