Welcome to Take 8 of “One Take: The Podcast with Yezmin Thomas”. What if you could quit your job to travel the world?
Think about it. If you could do anything in the world, and money didn’t matter, what would you do?
That is a question that I still don’t know how to answer. Many things come to mind. Would I become a stay at home mom? Perhaps, could I found my own company? How about travel the world? Would I just want to move to a small beach town in Mexico and live life, in slow motion, without worries? Could I combine them and do it all?
I don’t have the answer for this question yet. But on Take 8 we hear from somebody that knew the answer to her question for many years. One day she decided to make it happen.

What If?
Lauren Wheat describes herself as “a woman who knows she can do anything she puts her mind to”.
At the end of 2015 Lauren took the risk. She said goodbye to life as usual, quitted the security of her job and pursued her dream of traveling the world. She had been entertaining that idea for many years and decided she didn’t want to look back at the end of life and say “what if?”
The combination of always looking for ways to achieve a new goal and make profound self-revaluations came together in a magical year celebrating life! She visited 15 European countries, New Zealand and Australia.  She says she is not sure what her next big dream is, but will be an adventure.
