On the Road with Mickey
On the Road with Mickey #101 – Christmas at Disney!
Christmas at Disney!
Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, and that’s Brenda, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 101 for December 20, 2021, and our feature topic is Christmas at Disney! Coming off of our milestone 100th episode last week, we are keeping the hits coming and talking about Christmas at Disney, and the ways we bring Disney home with us at Christmas! Have a listen, and let us know in the comments what you think! Here’s the rundown of what we talked about:
- Update from Last Week:
- We were talking about how our technology allows us to meet online even from a great distance away! I guessed that we were 900 or 1000 miles from Brenda, turns out it is 1,204 miles from our house to hers!

- Mike: Tuesday night the 14th, Reedy Creek Fire Department vehicles had to proceed down Main Street U.S.A. to put out a small fire at Cinderella Castle. No one was injured. Beyond that we don’t know much about it.
- Brenda: The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is returning for 2022! Set to begin March 2, 2022, the event will run through July 4, 2022!
- Sophie: Our friend and On the Road with Mickey guest Lee from Disleelandia is getting ready to celebrate the 1,000th post on his site! Congratulations, Lee! He has a question for all of us to answer: How has a Toy or Collectible impacted you and what you do as a content creator today?

- “If I were a fatalist, or a mystic, which I decidedly am not, it might be appropriate to say I believe in my lucky star. But I reject ‘luck’ – I feel every person creates his own ‘determinism’ by discovering his best aptitudes and following them undeviatingly.” – Walt Disney
