Today's episode is taking a look at how we incorporate Disney into our lives at home, especially for the holidays. Here's what we talked about: Cheddar from the Big Cheese: Sophie: Coming to the Disney Destiny, which as you know, had its Christening last week, a brand new Broadway-style stage adaptation of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Hercules! Aptly titled “Disney Hercules”, the show will stay true to the original story and will feature such iconic songs as “Go the Distance”, “Zero to Hero”, and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love”! In addition, it will also feature a brand new ballad called “Shooting Star”! Mike: Also coming to the Disney Destiny: Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a new Lion King inspired dining experience! Brenda: Just a friendly reminder to all the early 2026 Walt Disney World guests that the Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine maintenance on January 25-31, 2026. Complimentary bus service will be available in its place. Connect with us! This Day in Disney History for 11/17: 1956: My Dad, Walt Disney Stump the Soph! Frank from Cars A little bit of Walt “Until a character becomes a personality, it cannot be believed. Without personality, the character may do funny or interesting things, but unless people are able to identify themselves with the character, its actions will seem unreal. And without personality, a story cannot ring true to the audience.”- Walt Disney Coming next week: Saving the Best for Last: The Last Meal of your Trip!
