Tips for getting the most out of your Spring Trip to Disney!

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 257 and this week our feature topic is Tips for getting the most out of your Spring Trip to Disney! This week, we’re compiling a list of all of the things you might want to look into when you are visiting Disney in the Spring! Here’s what we talked about:

  • Cheddar from the Big Cheese:

    • Mike: Walt Disney Imagineering shared a video on the Disney Parks Blog the other day showing how riders will embark on the Monster’s Inc. Coaster. Load, vertical lift, and then away you go! It’s going to be awesome!
    • Brenda: As we prepare for being On the Seas with Mickey, we’re going to talk periodically about various things you can enjoy on the Disney Treasure! Today, we’re looking at the lounges. Skipper Society is themed after the Jungle Cruise! Haunted Mansion Parlor is themed after – well, I’ll let you guess what it’s themed after lol. The Scat Cat Lounge is themed after the movie The Aristocats. Lastly, the Periscope Pub is themed after 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. For coffee shops, you’ve also got Heihei Cafe and Jade Cricket Cafe.
    • Sophie: Lastly, talk about some awesomeness coming to the Star Wars Universe! The Mandalorian and Grogu MOVIE will debut on May 22, 2026. Also, coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run on May 22, 2026 – new destinations that include Din Djarin and Grogu in the ride!

    • “I’ve always had the feeling and I’ve always felt that there’s a thing that schools should put more emphasis on…that is, how to research. I think it is what more students should know. Take even a lawyer who’s spent years in school. Where would he be without his library? I see writers who’re  supposed to be well-educated and everything else. You go in where they’re working, you see all the different books they have around and everything else and the dictionaries they have there, the tools of their trade.” – Walt Disney

  • Coming next week: March Madness – Magic Kingdom!
