Pro Tips for visiting Walt Disney World!

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 254 and this week our feature topic is Pro Tips for visiting Walt Disney World! This week, we’re compiling a list of tips that will help you and your family have an even better time at Walt Disney World! Here’s what we talked about:

  • Cheddar from the Big Cheese:

    • Sophie: Coming soon to a Walt Disney World Attraction Near You: The Elimination of Virtual Queues for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! This change goes into effect on February 25th for both attractions!
    • Brenda: The 70th Anniversary of Disneyland is coming quickly! There are several things in store to celebrate; one that I’m interested in is A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers, Coming to the Main Street Cinema
    • Mike: Back to Walt Disney World, the green light has been given to replace the Rivers of America with Cars Land and Villains Land. The permit date is February 17, 2025, it’s a five year permit that goes until February 17, 2030, and the total scope of the project is 300.82 acres!

    • Packing tips

      • Always make sure you have at least one power battery to charge your phone.
      • Brenda always brings at least a partially empty suitcase for souvenirs.

    • Plan your place to stay based on where you want to spend most of your time.
    • If you wish, you can split your stay among multiple resorts to plan your park days around where you are staying.
    • During busy times of the year, consider Uber or Lyft for transportation if the crowds are heavy on the buses.
