Okayest Moms: The Podcast
17. Raising Kind Kids with Diedre
Heather and Brittany talk to Diedre Anthony about the importance of raising kind kids who are conscious of the world around them. Diedre Anthony is a school counselor, farmer’s wife, and mother to 3 biracial children. In her blog, Are Those Your Kids?, she touches on topics such as race, diversity, curly hair and motherhood.
Diedre leads a thoughtful, candid conversation about the importance of talking to your children about differences and ways you can incorporate and celebrate diversity into your daily lives.
This conversation was originally apart of the Okayest Moms Summer Series, which was a webinar series produced in 2019. The audio is pulled from a video webinar, so while some things may be lost in translation to audio, the prevailing message of the conversation is in tact.
