Raquel shares her tragic story on being ran over by a drunk driver while walking back from dinner during a family vacation. What was supposed to be an incredible family getaway, turned out to be one of the most traumatic moments her family has ever experienced. Raquel lost her foot during this event and after a much painful recovery, the way she chose to look at life while turning something so scary into such a positive outlook will blow you away. Raquel now is a mommy and is living her best life along her wonderful husband. She has a prosthetic foot which supports the life she continues to want to live fully & never takes for granted every single day as being able to be alive. She continues to be a light in any room she walks into & inspires many.
