Congenital Muscular Torticollis
Congenital Muscular Torticollis (CMT) is a postural abnormality affecting 4-16% of infants. Shortening of the sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) on one side of the neck causes the infant to tilt their head toward and rotate their head away from the tight side.
