We believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.  We believe in the Holy Spirit, Christ’s holy church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

How do we live by the Spirit?

• We allow Him to convict (Convince) us
  

“And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment; regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me; and regarding righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me; and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” John 16:8-13 NASB

• We allow Him to comfort us
  

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26 KJV
