How to do a 10th Step
How to do Step 10: Northstar Big Book Alcoholics Anonymous
Step 10 has been a complete game changer for me. I did not know how to do a 10th step out of the Big Book until I was 13 years sober. Step 10 helps me start with my feelings, usually resentful and/or afraid, and I am able to see where I am selfish and dishonest. I am able to see where and what i can change. This episode is a quickie that takes the listener through HOW TO DO A 10th STEP. I go into greater detail with step 10 in an earlier episode from the chapter Into Action. Below is how I send my 10th step in a text message.
10-r (resentful), a (afraid), d (dishonest), s (selfish): I simply list these. NOT A STORY.
I ask my HP to take this from me.
Amends. What can I change? And do I owe an amends for my behavior?
B (breathing)
E (expectations)
A (attitude)
P (perspective)
Others-who can I go be useful to?
