Welcome to the NT90 challenge, a 90 day reading challenge from Nappanee Missionary Church! Today, Jesus tells two parables. Both of them are about farmers and crops. A parable is a story that Jesus told. These stories are usually about something on earth that we know about, like farmers and farming in these two stories. But Jesus’ stories use those things to teach us about following Jesus and being part of God’s kingdom! We are reading Matthew 13:3-30 from the New International Readers Version of the Bible, which is the translation of the Bible that we use in our K/1 and 2/3 classrooms.  As we read, take some time to pray and ask God to show you something new or remind you of something important you already know about.
