Singing Kirtan with Tree Frogs — OM Fest in Bermuda

May 20, 2015

Have you ever been to Bermuda? I'm back from my first trip to this incredibly beautiful island, and in this week's show I'll tell you about my experience attending OM Fest -- a weekend of deep loving connection.

The Bermuda kirtan community -- what a bunch of sweet loving souls they are. Here's a picture of when we met at Bhakti Fest. And here's the link to the article Shanell wrote that started it all, her description of how the kirtan community in Bermuda started. It's a beautiful inspiring story of healing & love, and the power that we as individuals have to change the world. It was such a treat to hang out with these beautiful people, share food with them, hear the history of their island and share this experience with David Newman, Sean Johnson and Gwendolyn & Alvin of the Wild Lotus Band. Here's a picture of all of us at the beach after the closing ceremony.

If you sing kirtan you belong to a beautiful, worldwide Bhakti community filled with open hearts and love. We sing together, we eat together, we support each other and our artists because we're stronger together than we are alone. Doesn't it feel good to know you're part of this beauty? Jai Ma.
