This week was cold like super chilly, but not very wet at all. We only picked up 0.03″ of rain as strong High pressure kept us mostly dry but cold as a northeast flow kept our daytime highs in the low 40s and overnight lows in the mid 20s.

This week was wet at times though it did begin fairly quiet as High pressure kept the bulk of the storminess to our north. Eventually a couple wet systems pushed through our region bringing 2.64″ of rain and up to 2ft of new snow to the ski resorts.

Another wet week is coming to a close with much milder temperatures as the jet stream remains mostly to our north. We did pick up 1.37" this week from a couple of milder systems that brought 5-8" of snow to the Sierra crest.
