Video: Preparing Globally Aware Leaders Through the International Baccalaureate Program
A unique feature of Metro Academic and Classical High School is its status as one of the few schools in Missouri to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Metro educators are committed to customizing their lessons to incorporate the values outlined in the IB Learner Profile, which includes fostering students to be inquirers, open-minded, knowledgeable, caring, thinkers, risk-takers, communicators, balanced, principled, and reflective.
Students plan stress-free days for peers to break from the rigorous daily schoolwork in AP and IB classes. Leadership opportunities are encouraged and available in clubs, student government, and extended learning.
