The debate motion at the conference this year is:

This house believes that there is no place for compulsion in a rights-oriented mental health system.

The debate will be chaired by Prof Samson Tse.
Dr Alison Faulkner and Prof Peter Bartlett will speak for the motion.
John Copping and Prof Vicky Stergiopoulos will speak against the motion.
