This week on the Intermission Podcast, the Movie Guys discuss their upcoming Kings Island trip, we listen to Craig complain about something, Snoop Dog comes up, and Guy keeps getting screwed by FYE.
Kings Island
Kings Island PR department has crushed our hopes and dreams about tailgating and press credentials. They snooped on our twitter account and now apparently think that we are not real news. And they are scared to let us have an open flame… Josh then talks about his ‘little grill’. Poor Josh. Guy explains the route we take to Mystic Timbers. A true play by play, songs and everything. We’ll need a compass. And a step counter. Also, Craig kept trying to get him to so words like ‘turn right’ and ‘in another three hundred feet’. We aren’t sure why but when asks he just giggled and changed the subject.
Guy then gives everyone nicknames for the top gun ride. Guy is Maverick, Craig is Iceman, Josh is Goose. Craig then decided that we need to do the beach volleyball scene from Top Gun after we ride the ride to get the full experience. Then the Intern stumbled onto some Kings Island trivia and we had a quiz off. Guy took an early lead but Josh made a comeback and tied it up in the last round while Craig never scored a point. Josh went on to win the tiebreaker round and totally humiliated Guy. Guy’s punishment was to eat a jelly bean from beanboozled but it was only a coconut one, again.
Zac Efron Movies
Josh gets off watching Zac Efron in Neighbors 2 and John and Dave, Dave and Goliath, no, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. One was okay and the other wasn’t very good. Then Craig complains about the Hangover sequels. We then talk about seas and money.
This Week in Movies
King Arthur bombed this week in the box offices but not as but as the Shia LaBeouf movie that made seven pounds. Pounds of what, we don’t know. Crap apparently. Guy claims that the whole thing isn’t true but Craig picks him apart very quickly. Then we talk about Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s cooking show.
So before the show, the Intern shows up at Craig’s house and knocks on the door before opening it. He looked around and no one was around so he went to pet the dog. There was no one in the podcast room either, so he continued to pet the dog only much more awkwardly until Josh arrived. Then they both petted the dog awkwardly. Suddenly the producer came out and informed us that Craig had fallen asleep with Movie Baby and he would be in shortly. They continued to pet the dog awkwardly.
Speaking of awkward, Guy’s mother got Fifty Shades Darker and made him watch it with her. He didn’t want to talk about it. He did, however, want to talk about how FYE had screwed him over with a magazine subscription, well six magazine subscriptions, and we find out he is still paying ten thousand dollars a year for a FYE membership. He does get 5% off at a place he shops at once a year though. We then finish up with disk golfing. It looks pretty cool, but Craig hates it on principal.
