This week in the Intermission Podcast the guys recap their Halloween. Craig went to a Hocus Pocus themed halloween block party thing and talks about it. And Guy invites everyone to go to a super awesome ghost hunting adventure and didn’t invite Craig and then talks about it. So, same old same old, but that’s good because it’s always so awesome.
The Movie Guys explore the Moonville Tunnel
Guy took Corey and Josh to the Moonville Tunnel and didn’t even think about inviting Craig. Guy explained the trip that way Craig can know on how much fun he missed out on. They did run into a group of drunk guys that don’t blink that directed them to a haunted cemetery. After that, their trip consisted of following directions written on the back of napkins by drunk strangers and wondering around in the dark woods. They also wound up in the King Hollow Tunnel which was creepier than the Moonville one. Guy promised Craig he would show him the pictures which would be so much better than actually going on the trip and getting dirty and stuff.
Hocus Pocus in Downtown Middletown
Craig and Josh went to Middletown without Guy and Corey, funny thing though, they invited them. That’s odd, inviting someone to go to something cool with you. Andrew from the Idle Chatter Podcast put on the event, closing down the block to have a big halloween Hocus Pocus party. They really enjoyed it. Josh pooped his pants he got so excited. Then they went to a Sonic that didn’t give a crap about what you want to eat. And the server called Craig Peewee Herman. In his defense, Craig does look like Peewee Herman so I don’t know what he’s mad about. And there was a dog in the drivethrough! And at another establishment, there was a loaded bear in a minivan. Then they invent a new word: “pocket boner”. What a night!
The Accountant
And the Movieguys, minus Craig, went to see The Accountant. It was great with all of its taxes and stuff. They all went down to the Silver Screens VII before the Podcast and watched Ben Affleck kick some accounting butt. It is described as “Rain Man meets Jason Bourne”. And Josh get’s a Anna Kendrick boner. So now with the thumbs: Josh raises one thumb good and high, Corey gives it both of his, the Intern is in with a solid one, and Guy gives it two high in the sky. So all in all, The Accountant get 6/8 thumbs, respectable…
Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park
Netflix is coming out with a spinoff of the Trailer Park Boys. Their in Europe vacationing and things go awry. Craig didn’t think it would be near as good but he was wrong. And Josh is definitely wrong. This leads to a long discussion that no one but Craig and Josh understands or really gives a damn about. Then Craig talks about Live P.D which is about police and it’s live. This blows Craig’s mind and he feels that somebody is going to die on live television now.
Next week, maybe, the Movie Guys will play “Will It Hotdog?”. It was supposed to be this week but Craig forgot to order hotdog casings. The rules are simple, blindfolded, taste, guess. It will be Corey v. The Intern v. The Josh. And then they discover that Guy has never had jelly! How they got there is a long story but the point being is that Guy is weird.
