Historical Context of Anti-Asian Policies and Practices
A part of APID/A (Asian Pacific Islander Desi- American) Heritage Month. Our first podcast of our series of APID/A Heritage Month Podcasts. We begin by discussing the historical context of Anti-Asian policies and attitudes in the United States. Our special guests for this episode are SJSU faculty members Hien Do, Professor in Sociology and Coordinator of the Asian American Studies Program, and Joanne Rondilla, Assistant Professor in Sociology. The dialogue is moderated by Bonnie Sugiyama, Director of the PRIDE and Gender Equity Centers at SJSU, and Chris Yang, Director of the Mosaic Cross Cultural Center at SJSU.
