What to do when faced with tough job temptations.
On this episode of Success Freaks, the guys open with Rough voices and High Adventure.  We ask if handed a Job Opportunity, should you always take advantage of it?  We discuss both sides of The Peter Principle.  In the fourth segment, we talk about facing the Writing on the Wall, preparing for change, and how to stay positive in a negative situation.  And, in On Beyond, we talk about how to level up while taking care of yourself.

Segment One -
This week Charles works on his Louis Armstrong impression….  Mordant tells us about his last weekend Minnesota, filming the latest Tortuga Twins DVD.  Charles is still raking in Birthday Bounty.

Segment Two -
In Section Two of the show, Charles tells us about someone who has an opportunity to move forward by leaving where he was… but, was told “if you stick around, we’ll promote you down the road.”  So, the question is… Should he stay or should he go?  Mordant points out that you should gather ALL the info you can before making a decision.  Mordant brings up “The Peter Principle” as a factor in making this kind of decision.  Charles HATES the concept.

Segment Three -
Charles comes at our topic from another direction… and asks “How do YOU feel about the opportunity?”  Pay attention to your “Gut.”  Trust your instincts.  Mordant says “Beware the Carrot!”  Are BOTH your possibilities genuine?  Are you being offered a “carrot” to stay where you are?  Both Charles and Mordant agree - make certain your offers are real.

Segment Four -
Listener Christina notes that it sometimes takes Courage to make these kinds of decisions.  Mordant and Charles agree.  Know yourself.  Know what you want and need.  Make decisions about your future based on as much knowledge as you can gather.  Try not to make the “easy” choice, unless it’s the best choice for you!  Don’t be afraid of the “hard” choice because it might be what’s best!

Here Charles and Mordant talk about how they “Go Bigger, Badder, Better, More!”
