HEADLINE: Lily Philips: Icon Of Our Time by Rod Dreher

• She is only 23, but has become a big star in the world of OnlyFans, the site in which people do pornographic things on camera for subscribers. 
  
• The film does not celebrate this, nor does the director, Josh Pieters, set out to condemn her. This turns out to have been the right move, because the plainly presented aftermath of Lily’s deed is incredibly sad. The director interviews her in the aftermath, and she looks exhausted and terrible. She says her eyes are burning from so many men having ejaculated into them. It is clear that she has been traumatized by the event. When the filmmaker enters the bedroom where she took the men, he nearly retches from the overwhelming smell of semen; condoms litter the floor.
  
• Lily tries to pretend that it was all fine, that she enjoyed it. But the middle-class university dropout also admits it was difficult, and her overwhelming sadness tells the true tale. She is not the confident young woman we meet in the beginning. She has been shaken to her core. Lily tells the director, in her post-coital interview, that it kind of feels like being a prostitute.
  
• Someone said on Twitter that Lily will either convert to Christianity, or put a gun in her mouth and blow her head off. I agree. There is no integrating what she has done into any kind of normal life.
  
• How does one allow this to happen?
  
• Shame on her and shame on the men that participated in this!
  
• We have a crisis in America. 
  
• We have made sex simply something for YOU to feel good, we have completely removed the real reason for it and that is between married people for children.
  
• Lily clearly hates herself. At one point in the postgame interview, she expresses guilt that some of the men who “ran through” her (Lily’s phrase), might not have had a good time. Can you imagine? She turned herself into a whore for these men (though she didn’t take money for it), and she’s concerned that she might have failed some of them. What is this is not deep self-loathing?

Giuffra, of Rheingold, Giuffra, Ruffo Plotkin & Hellman, LLP, said in an afternoon press conference outside of Manhattan Supreme Court that the trio of lawsuits have much in common.”All of these cases involve the rape of men,” Guiffra said. “They all involve drugging of these victims, raping by Sean Combs and others, following the rapes threats to the safety of each one of these victims. We’re here to obtain some justice for these people for events that have been traumatizing them ever since.”
