How many more assassination attempts on DT until the president and VP, and you pick a different word to describe Trump other than threatening?

Karine Jean-Pierre – Peter, if anything, from this administration, I actually completely disagree w/ the premise of your question. The question that you’re asking, it is also incredibly dangers in the way that you’re asking it b/c the American people are watching. To say that, from an administration that has consistently condemned political violence, where the president called the former president and was thankful and grateful that he was okay, where the administration has called out J6, the attack on Paul Pelosi, and said we need to lower the temperature after the Butler incident, and now for you to make that kind of comment in your question, which involved a comment and a statement that is incredibly dangerous.

• The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter who killed 20 children and six adults, after first shooting his mother in the head, also came from a broken home. So did the Centennial, Colorado, school shooter, and the young man who walked into a Georgia elementary school with 500 rounds of ammunition. Although the parents of 15-year-old Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley still lived together, reports indicated the marriage was troubled; his mother was having an affair.
  
• Accordingly to an international academic study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine in 2018, “separation from a parent during childhood is strongly associated with elevated risk for later violent criminality” in contrast to children “who lived continuously with both parents.” The study surveyed a whopping cohort of 1.3 million individuals up to age 15, specifically excluding children with deceased parents. Males accounted for 90 percent of violent offenders.
  
• In other words, the correlation between family structure and violent sons appears consistent over time.
  
• You know I heard this before.
  
• I heard that the family unit of a mother and father is what a family should be but God.

HEADLINE: Our Constitution Isn’t Dangerous, But Our Ignorance Of It Is by Lathan Watts

• President Ronald Reagan, speaking of his political opponents, once joked, “It’s not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.” Perhaps the only threat to liberty comparable to not knowing what is in the Constitution is “knowing” things that are not in the Constitution.
  
• Some politicians frame the First Amendment right of free speech as inapplicable to speech some might find offensive. Subverting one individual’s right to speak to another’s fragile emotional perceptions inevitably leads to calls for the government to silence the “offending” party. This so-called “hate speech exception” is constitutionally apocryphal.
  
• It’s also a dangerous step down a well-worn path to authoritarianism, cloaked in the veneer of democracy. History teaches that when those in power can decide whose speech is worthy of protection, speech that questions their power is the first deemed unworthy.
  
• An even more important question is why more Americans do not wonder the same. For over 200 years, through wars abroad and at home, our nation and our Constitution have endured. The hope that both will continue to do so rests on our willingness to make every day Constitution Day.
  
• The law making is done primarily in your state when there are emergencies it can be done federally.
